"Fun game" by Gully Foyle It's no geometry wars but it really does nail the 80's look and feel. Fun game to kill a bit of downtime with and the online highscores provide some nice competition.
"Real fun & awesome game to kill time." by xempt-wrk I just bought this game and its the best I've played so far. Its a great way to kill time when your waiting around. I found myself passing the time in the office not too long ago waiting to go home. I recommened anyone looking at the game to just get it.
"Throwback game that gets it right..." by s0mah If you spent time at an arcade in the late 80's/early 90's, then you will like this game. It's definitely good value for the money.
"Nice little time killer." by Dovoto Fast paced arcade like action and, if you like space shooters, well worth the 99 cents.
"Hours of great pick-up-n-play fun" by Zombie of '83 Triphids is perfect for quick pick up and go fun. Got a few minutes before a meeting, killing time before class, whenever. Also perfectly remniscent of classic arcade space shooters.

"Great Fun" by Ffop I've been having some fun with Triphids for a little bit and thought it was time to write a short review.
Honestly, at first, the controls are slightly confusing. However, as I started to get the feel of it, the controls became innutive and sharp. I was flying my ship all over the screen, quickly, evading the myriad of bullets coming straight for me.
The 8bit arcade feel is classic. The music and sound effects are great.
What I think is the big selling point of this title is the fact that it can keep your attention for awhile. Bored with the arcade mode? Try perpetual. I can definitely see myself playing this while waiting in line, when I'm bored, or when I just want something simple to play. 5 stars"Great retro game, excellent way to kill time" by Kraln When I look for a game for my iPod touch, I look for two things: I want something I can get in and out of quickly, and something that I can get so engrossed in that I end up playing for much longer than I intended to. I can faithfully say that this game scores highly in both categories.
I also really like the retro feel. It looks very authentic, and the controls are simple, but really good. I personally use the device on its side, and use my two thumbs to control the ship. The music is great, and the online high-score list is cool too. I just wish there was a little more variety in the enemies, but for the price I can't complain.
"Awesome retro goodness" by LaceySnr Great little game, immediately takes you back to the arcade golden years, with everything from the good old "winners don't use drugs" slogan to the retro Cade font. Some good gameplay and lovely pixel art make this a must for any shooter fan
"Nice" by Developer A fun little arcade tunnel shooter. Let's see how long I can stay on top of the perpetual scoreboard.
